Jaipur the "Pink City "is also famous for its Palace of Winds called the beautiful Hawa Mahal which is the heart of Jaipur. It is a a five storey building and also the tallest building in this entire world . This mahal is dedicated to Lord Krishna.

This was built during the reign of Maharaja Sawai Prathap Singh in 1799 who was the founder of the city called Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan. It was designed by Lal Chand Ustad. There is no any regular stairs in this mahal ,the reason is that carrying palanquins of Rajput royal women on ramps was easier than steps.

One could call Hawa Mahal as a wonder because of its beautiful architecture  and its timeless beauty.
